Obama and McCain speak about faith with Rick Warren
Earlier tonight both Obama and McCain spoke with Rick Warren, super-church evangelical minister and author of The Purpose Driven Life. He did a 1 hour interview with each candidate about important political topics such as 'What does it mean to you to trust in Christ?' and 'What does Christianity mean to you on a daily basis?'
There were other, more relevant questions as well on topics such as abortion, same sex marriages, funding for faith based organizations, stem cell research and other religiously-tinged issues.
There are multiple sources of articles online as well as video clips. I haven't found a full transcript or full video yet but here are some links at the more mainstream sites:

The recent forum that Pastor Warren just gave for Obama brain dumps and McCain was totally brutal to Obama and apparently was only a platform for mcCain to completely deliver his same old worn-out stmp speech to each and every question without Pastor's interruption or request to answer the question 640-802 braindumps. Obama would be wise to stay away from this man who may very well represent a "wolf" in sheep's clothing literally speaking 350-001 braindumps.

I think this kind of thing is pretty ridiculous. Sure, the candidates are allowed to have their own religious views and even I don't really care what those are, but think about it--if either one of the candidates had decided to say "no" to this discussion for personal reasons...such as not wanting to drag faith into politics, they may have been sealing their own fate. If Obama, for example, had refused to participate in this I really think people would have latched onto it as a sign that he was an "atheist" or a "muslim" or something. I just think it's sad when everyone has to cave and do this kind of pandering to even have a shot at getting elected.

There was a great article in today's Topeka Capital Journal regarding this.
