Reflections on Hell
After the ACT's recent trip to Hell (House) it makes me wonder what the fascination is in believing that it is true. Part of the play was the Christian kid witnessing to the other 'bad' kids and telling them that they needed to give their lives and plans for the future to Jesus. That was the requirement to be saved. The teenager that killed four(or five) people didn't go to hell because of multiple murders but because he didn't 'accept Jesus'. How backwards is that?
It was really entertaining at the end of the night when everyone was taken to a room and a prayer was said for us. After the prayer, we were told to raise our hands if we were ready to give our life to Jesus. Nobody raised their hands. We were then asked a second time and told that it can be hard to do sometimes and still nobody raised a hand. By the third time he asked someone that wasn't with the ACT (we were about half of the tour) did raise their hand. I don't think he was used to having a group not ready to 'give their life for Jesus'. He kept reminding us how emotional all the events we witnessed were.
I'm just glad I made it through the night without laughing. I was doing my best to be respectful but still had a hard time keeping a straight face at times. The dancing angels were cute but having 'Jesus' in my face saying "I will be with you always" was a little much.
From a non-believing perspective it was quite a bit of entertainment for three dollars. The scary part of the night wasn't their interpretation of hell but the fact that there are people out there that believe it's all real.

I was at a large supermarket today – suddenly the fire alarm rang vmware dumps. The customers left their trolleys laden with goods just where they were standing and walked outside the building, followed by the supermarket’s staff ibm dumps. The customers were led to one corner of the car park whilst the staff gathered at another corner and a roll call was taken. We waited for about half an hour until the all clear was given microsoft dumps. The staff entered the building first in single file; I counted about 200 or so.
