Life after death?
Hello all..
Let me start by introducing myself ... My name is Tom and I have always considered myself a normal guy... However in the fall of 94 I had an out of body experience when our canoe flipped into frigid water ... my 2 friends made it to shore but i didnt ... i tried and tried but due to the clothes and boots that I was wearing I was weighted down ... I went under several times and finally I gave up .. i tried to inhale while undrwater .. i immediatly rose up and abovethe river and i watched my friends running along the bank screaming and puling their clothes off.. then i watched as my friend Mike jumped in and pulled me out by my hair .. anyway .. ever since that incident i have had what most people would consider "strange" happen to me .. I have had images appear in my head when around certain people... i tell these people of the images and the feeling that I am recieving and its always from someone who has passed away... any ... I am not religious .. AT ALL .. I do not believe in GOD or organized religion ... however this is real... there is an afterlife and I recieve messages from the other side ... I am a scientist by nature and only believe in fact .. I have researched this inside and out and I am not alone ... Dr.Gary Schwartz has even done single, double and triple blind studies with conclusive evidence that strongly supports an afterlife. Remember .. I am a scientist , wildlife naturalist, an evolutionist and a paramedic... I only believe in truth ... not religious hokey pokey ... i have a website www.safaritom.com Just because we are against religion doesnt mean that there is no afterlife... There is no GOD in my opinion but our " conscience " lives on... I would like to know what your thoughts are?

Do you have any links to any of these "studies"? Are the studies peer-reviewed? I may be skeptical but I don't consider myself stubborn. If it can be consistently demonstrated that there is another "side", that's fine by me, but your little canoe drowning story isn't enough. I'm not saying I don't believe you, but some awfully weird stuff probably happened to your body / brain while you were freezing to death and drowning. What exactly did you see? What exactly do the people in this guy's studies "see"? As it is, this post really looks more like an ad for your site than anything else...sorry.
